Welcome!

A life-long love of art, combined with a passion for video games lead me to where I am today.  I began working in Adobe PhotoShop in 1996, back when it came on floppy disks and I was a teenage menace to every other driver on the road.  Organization and communication are vital for the success of any project, as is the understanding of the entire game development pipeline.  Feel free to contact me for more information or samples.  I began work in field as a texture artist for environmental hard-body objects using PhotoShop, 3ds Max, and Z-Brush.  Since then I have branched out in both software usage and job skills.

I have worked in creating children's educational titles, fitness related software, mobile applications, PC titles, as well as mods to existing games.  In addition to creating art assets, I have worked as Producer on numerous independent projects.  Most recently job titles have included Art Director, Lead Artist, and Environmental Artist.  Natural leadership and communication skills allowed me to excel as an Art Director.  Using a hands-on approach, I feel it is important to lead by example and maintain a strong artistic vision for the product.

Working in multiple art styles is a strong point.  I have created everything between gritty urban environments to light-hearted children's software.  These two extremes have been the most rewarding and enjoyable styles, and I look forward to future titles for children, families, and adults.  In addition to environmental art and art direction, I have also done more traditional graphic design work outside of entertainment industry.

I am currently available for both freelance and full-time work, and am willing to relocate inside North America.
